Girls on the Run Minnesota is a volunteer-powered organization. Each year, we work with 5,000+ participants across Minnesota delivering research-based, empowering programming that combines physical activity with social-emotional learning. Meeting girls at a critical age (8-11 years old) when self-confidence starts to drop, participation in athletics falls, and 50% of girls experience bullying, we teach life skills like expressing your emotions, standing up for yourselves and others, and choosing healthy friendships. We actively work to address health disparities in our community and eliminate barriers to participation.
This vital work is fueled by the volunteer and financial support of local partners. Each date listed below includes the cost associated with the project. These opportunities are first-come, first-serve so as soon as you know which date(s) you’d like, please click the Claim a Date button or contact Johnna Bratt, Operations Manager, at johnna.bratt@girlsontherun.org to complete a group volunteer agreement.
